I knew after I took my first bite that I would give a 5 star rating. The restaurant smells AMAZING when you walk in. By comparison, the New China place off Beltline smells like sewage. This food was full of flavor and tasted fresh. New China lacks flavor and made me sick. DO NOT GO TO ANY OTHER CHINESE RESTAURANT IN COLLINSVILLE EXCEPT FOR PEKING GARDEN!!!! Will 100% be going back.
Best American Chinese food in the area. The lo mein was soft and flavorful. The chicken fried rice was so much better than any of the New China or similar places. It was a tad salty but I liked that and based on other reviews, looks like you can request less salty friend rice if you want. The broccoli in the orange chicken was obviously steamed fresh. We also got egg rolls and crab rangoon. The egg rolls were so-so and the crab rangoon was fairly typical. But the 5 stars go to the lo mein and fried rice. It was also very fast (we put in a phone order and picked it up). Prices were not bad either. I dislike the other Chinese places in the area because either the meats are weirdly gelatinous or the fried rice is no good. Peking Garden has neither problem. Definitely a step above the strip mall Chinese places but similar pricing and style.
My absolute favorite Chinese food. I always go home full. They have some interesting figurines on display for your amusement. Take your readers with you because the menus can be hard to read. The appetizer sampler is awesome.
Server was awesome. The pot stickers were delicious. The crab rangoon didn't have much crab in it. The food was too salty (Curry tofu and chicken fried rice) but the chef offered to recook it and gave us white rice to mix with our dish (for free) as per request. They also have amazing decorations and adorable painted rocks.
