I love bread co. I frequently the Fairview heights location and Ive never been disappointed. But I went to the collinsville location this time and ordered what I usually order which is a full size chicken Caesar salad. When I got it home It was half the size I usually get! I wouldnt mind except I paid almost 10 dollars for a full sized salad and got a half sized one.
It was my first time using rapid pick up around 10:30 am. The manager was upset with me that I didnt know that rapid pick up was in a certain area. She said ITS ALWAYS GOING TO BE HERE OK! I smiled grabbed my food and left. I always get the green goddess salad in Springfield IL. So I know that this salad should have kale and romaine lettuce. Its a $10 salad and I didnt have time to go back in to complain that I was given and iceberg salad. What a let down
I am a fan of Panera Bread. Love the bagels, thus I went to receive my free reward bagel Sunday around 3pm. It was it a good experience. They had only one person waiting on six customers. We waited patiently to be served. It took me seven minutes to be served my free bagel. The employee could not even bread slice it for me. She had a manager work the slicer. Finally after seven minutes I received my bagel and promptly left.I decided to give them the benefit and return Monday around the same time. Low and behold the same experience different people. I wish I could say they treated me well but that is not the case.The store was clean and there is plenty of parking. The do have handicap parking as well. The food is always good the coffee is the best. If you are looking for good food this is the place to go. If you want good food and good service you might try some place else
The breakfast sandwich and the muffin were good as well as the smoothie but the broccoli cheddar soup tasted like bacon and the salad dressing smelt rancid. The delivery drive was nice and it was delivered in a timely manner. Would recommend but probably skip the salad.
It had been a while since we had eaten at Bread Co. We were looking for something quick, warm and satisfying. I tried the Autumn Squash soup with the Cuban sandwich. The soup was a wonderful surprise as it was quite flavorful. I found that I arrived at the bottom of the cup much to quickly. The Cuban also had great flavor. While I was not expecting the display sandwich, I was surprised by the meager portion of pork on the sandwich. I'll definitely return to Bread Co to try the sandwich again.
